This was a Design-Build project requiring RPC to fast-track the design process, while also mitigating contaminated site constraints, and managing personnel through operational secrete security clearance spaces.  This project entailed civil excavation, soil screening & stockpile, backfill, structural concrete foundations & piers, and buried utilities to support the construction of new EPS-R antennas and FAB-T Shelters. Interior work included carpentry, mechanical HVAC, fire suppression systems, and relocation of communications wiring.  The key to success on this project was in RPC’s ability to maintain flexibility of our inhouse trades to ensure continued progress, as well as our relationships to our partners in engineering and environmental sciences.
