RPC worked to consolidate JP-8 and ULSD fuel storage, and issue capabilities of two separate Fuel Farms that had been in operation since the 1950s. The existing Fuel Farms’ bulk storage infrastructure was demolished, along with an underground JP-8 fuel transfer pipeline, and then reconstructed as a consolidated system at one location. The consolidated facility consists of (6) 50,000-gallon double-wall underground storage tanks (USTs) for JP-8, and (1) 25,000-gallon UST for ULSD storage. This facility included a control room with motor control center (MCC), improved fuel filtration capabilities, and a new truck loading and offloading area. At the adjacent location a new Retail Station facility was constructed as well as a dispenser island containing two (2) JP-8 and two (2) ULSD fuel dispensers and a refueling truck offload station.
